It’s 1960’s and the children are loading on to a coach, presumably for an outing somewhere. The coach is a Crossley SD42 parked just by the cemetery gate on Church Lane. This type of coach was built up to 1952 so this one would have a few miles on the clock! The school laid on regular outings, going to the beach, to Grimes Graves and sometimes to London and we have many pictures of the children enjoying the summer.
