Harry did run the electrical shop, and owned one of the first televisions in the locality. Posted by Guest on Sun 06 Nov 2005 15:02:54 UTC Angela Parker-Woodward nee BeaumontYes this is Harry Beaumont, my uncle. My father, Arthur Beaumont wound the church clock when Bert Huckle was unable to do so. I remember as a child helping to turn the winder. My Uncle did not wind the clock until after the death of my father in 1959. My father lived opposite the church and my Uncle lived in the High Street.
