She and Percy lived next door to each other in Mill Field. (Info A. King) Posted by Guest on Wed 01 Jun 2005 07:25:11 UTC Andrew Forman.Forman@royaloakyard.freeserve.co.ukI am descended from Betsey Searle. She was the sister of ESTHER Searle(1826-1912). The latter married Ingle Few Thoday(1829-1883). Was there another Ingle Few Thoday or should Esther be EMILY? If anyone has a pic of Betsey or husband William Hemington Crisp I would be grateful for it. Posted by Guest on Tue 13 Mar 2007 11:12:27 UTC jeeps_slides03_040
The little boy at the front left on the bottom row is my Father Claude Ronald Thoday. Posted by Dorinne Skinner (nee Thoday) (guest) on Sat 31 May 2008 16:35:33 UTC What year was this photo?
My Father was Gerald Thoday, front row right. He lived in Saskatchewan and Ontario, Canada, but was obviously visiting relatives in England at this time. I notice his cousin Kathleen is in the picture; my middle name is Kathleen, after her. Posted by Nancy Thoday Mackay (guest) on Fri 06 Jun 2008 04:27:01 UTC Claude ThodayClaude Thoday visited our family in Haileybury Ontario in the early 1970's. He had grown up! Posted by Nancy Mackay again (guest) on Fri 06 Jun 2008 04:30:10 UTC Thoday Family portraitMy grandfather was Lancelot Thoday (1888-1975) - 3rd from right in front row. His father was Ingle Few Thoday (1856-1944) and his mother was Emily (ne Smith). To answer a previous contributor's question - there was another Ingle Few Thoday - Ingle Few's father was also called Ingle Few Thoday (1829-1883). It was this latter Ingle Few who married Ester Searle. Posted by Fay Thoday (guest) on Tue 14 Oct 2008 22:01:52 UTC How do I print this photo? I suspect that this may be Posted by Brian Hunt on Fri 01 Jul 2011 14:16:00 UTC Thoday/Thody genealogical questionLydia Thody was born in in Willingham about 1798, but her baptism is not recorded in the parish register. She married John Askew in Willingham in 1829, emigrated to America in 1850, and died in Iowa in 1868. I wonder if anyone could tell me about her parents.
