From AndrewC: Breach in the river bank at Over in 1947, this then flooded Over fen and West Fen. Eventually washing over Earith Road, into the Old West River, and then breaching the bank of the Old West then flooding Haddenham fen.
The breach was blocked using army amphibious vehicles as shown on the left of the photo.
