The woman at the back is Annie Thoday nee Waites, she was the photgrapher Horace Thoday's wife. He was know for always putting his camera basket into the photo.

Steam Thrashing
This is a Fowell 7 nhp single cylinder engine owned by contractors, F Seamark although the thrashing machine is sign written 'Seamark & Bros'. The engine was built in 1896 at St Ives and purchased secondhand from Kimpton's of Somersham.It was sold in 1921 to Charles Askew of Fen End, Willingham.
