I took the colour pick, just before it was demolished. It appears very little had changed since my grandfathers day. It was still not on sewerage, and the interior had not been altered, and the windows doors looked original. (M. Manning)

The Car in the next Picture was a NEW "Singer" well known make at that time. It is Aunt Vena in the back and the child must be Barry Smith her eldest son who must have been born about 1931.They lived in Church Street.during the War. Her Mother, Emily lived opposite in one of the Cottages in Lack's Yard. T. Manning
