Tower cottages shows grandpa and I on a tractor. Sadly we have no pics of the water tower I climbed that regularly as a kid with gpa he was one of the custodians and it was part of his Sunday morning walk. (Mandy Manning)

The old car with the trailer is a Morris Cowley 12 HP coupe. In those days quite a hot motor. Probably had to be to haul the fruit about, as I doubt our roadways were up to much !!! (M. Manning)

The two boys with guns are Tony Manning and Brian Easy. The Easy's lived in the next door house in Newington called Lammas Cottage, after the Lammas pear tree in the front garden. It is still there, but much altered since those days. (M. Manning)
