Pont and his daughters lived in the downstairs, there was an upstairs but it was inaccesible. When I was a boy I would sometimes carry a bucket of water for them, from the stand tap on the opposite side of Church street.

Rear of cottage on Church St. / Green. Occupied by Arthur Seale (Pont) in former years. Now demolished.
