Around the outbuildings was gravel with a hedge separating the lawn and flower beds. Going arong the outer side of the garden behind the outbuildings, first was a big compost heap, followed by the vegetable garden, Apple trees at the end. In the middle more fruit trees, pears, plums, greengades ect. Moving along the back was the rose garden, then moving along towards the house, a cage the gooseberries and rasberrys and currents. in front of that a strawberry 2ft cage. In front of that the shrubbery,
then the rockery with walnut and hazel nut trees around it leading back to the lawn. Back to the house a row of blackberry bushes running along the wall next to the farm. In the front, double lawns surrounded by trees.
So there's a ramble around the garden as I remember it.
